About Us

MOE KURIHARA

Principal Exercise Physiologist

Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology

Moe is a Senior Exercise Physiologist and Pilates Instructor at Prosper Exercise Physiology with an interest in chronic disease management. She is currently the full-time practising clinician at Prosper and has been a part of the family from the very start. She has since been promoted to the Principal Exercise Physiologist of the Clinic due to the high quality of health care she provides, her caring nature, her willingness to constantly work on improving her clinical knowledge and skills, and her meticulous work ethic, that she has demonstrated from the very beginning.

The reason Moe chose to pursue Exercise Physiology as a career is due to her passion for helping people and her love for exercise. Now, she continues to be an exemplary Clinician as she feels true purpose from the experience, she’s gained by engaging with a diverse caseload of individuals and is seeing first-hand, how exercise can positively impact their lives. Due to this, she strives to help clients recognise their potential, helping them enhance their bodies and minds, through movement exploration and education. Moe recognises that every individual has a story to tell and with consideration of their unique situation and circumstances, she implements the right personalised exercise-therapy intervention that is centred around sustainable behavioural change.

Moe has extensive experience in evaluating and delivering personalised exercise prescriptions for individuals with metabolic, respiratory and/or musculoskeletal health concerns within Australia’s rural and metropolitan communities. Moe also utilises her knowledge and skill to implement exercise prescriptions for individuals undergoing cancer recovery and/or neurological rehabilitation.

Outside the clinic, you will catch Moe “fiercely” playing softball for the Queensland State team, powering through rock-climbing trails and immersing herself in the outdoors, amongst the beautiful nature. She also finds comfort in simply being at home and watching reality TV shows.

About Us

BRIANNA CRAIGIE

Director at Prosper Exercise Physiology

Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology

Brianna is the Director of Prosper Exercise Physiology

and a Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist currently managing the business from home. She is passionate about Women’s health care and the management of mental health and chronic pain conditions. As a mother of 2, she understands the challenges women and parents face, raising children in a world full of unrealistic body types with the prevalence of social media, which is why she advocates for intuitive movement, creating Prosper to educate and empower a holistic weight-neutral approach to health care.

As a veteran spouse for 10 years and a Medical Receptionist at a Pain Clinic, for 3 of those years, Brianna interacted with people who were debilitated by varying levels of pain, daily. Since then, she has been an active member of the veteran community, navigating the complexity of health concerns from Military service, with pain being the most notable. She has developed a deep, empathetic understanding of how pain can affect all aspects of a person’s life, continuing to seek new ways to bring awareness to the relationship between stress/trauma and chronic pain, and how exercise therapy can help.

She moved to Mango Hill in 2020, where she first started Prosper from her garage. After 7 months, she wanted to create a unique space that was gentle on the senses and safe for everyone to express themselves. After first inspecting the beautiful lakefront location, we now call Prosper, she couldn’t pass the opportunity to bring her dream to life! Since then, she has selectively chosen a compassionate team that also values the importance of providing holistic, patient-clinician-centred care, to foster a positive, long-term relationship with exercise and bodies.

Outside of the studio, you will find Brianna spending time with her family or passionately working on a new project for either this business or the online gaming community she is a big part of. She enjoys the world of finance, cooking delicacies, reading science fiction and travelling the world.

About Us

Casey Vickery

Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology

Bachelor of Exercise Science

Casey is our Senior Exercise Scientist and a first-year Accredited Exercise Physiologist, working casually at Prosper and will begin mobile services within the community very soon. Her interests are sports/athlete performance, rehabilitation and Women’s Health. Casey grew up playing competitive touch football and currently competes in triathlons. She now incorporates her clinical knowledge and skills into her training regime, developing a hybrid approach to incorporate both cardiovascular fitness and strength training methods effectively.

Casey chose Exercise Science as she has always loved exercise and the challenges it brings. She believes our bodies are so capable and adaptable to what we expose ourselves to, something she has always found absolutely amazing and wanted to continue learning more about. Therefore, she decided to pursue a Master of Exercise Physiology, to get a deeper insight into how functional movement can be used as a tool to treat nearly every chronic medical concern and to improve human performance within sports.

Since then, she has found a passion for Women’s Health, completing 12 weeks of Practicum at Prosper last here. With 4 years of experience as an Exercise Scientist and the recent completion of her master’s degree, Casey has a fresh passion for delivering evidence-based exercise and educating clients about the profound benefits that exercise brings not only to our physical health but also our mental well-being! She also continues to strive to learn and improve her knowledge and skill set within women’s health and to continue growing awareness of the benefits that exercise holds, particularly for women’s health!

Outside of the studio, you’ll find Casey at BFT Northlakes where she enjoys strength and endurance training, challenging her mindset and ability to push her body. Casey is also currently training for Hyrox and loves good coffee with friends, exploring new cafes and slow Sundays!
