I've had a great experience with Bri and the team at prosper. I was very happy with the work I did for rehab after I ruptured my ACL. My surgeon was also very impressed with how it was going before surgery. I have just started rehab after surgery and so far it has been great, Bri customised a program for my post-surgery rehab and I am feeling stronger already!

I had an overall great experience working with Bri, she listened to all of my previous injuries and took everything into consideration when creating a program for me, which was easy to follow and keep up with. It felt as if she really cared about my needs which was a nice change of pace from what I felt at a traditional doctor’s office/physical therapist. After every session I was able to explain what I liked and didn’t like about each workout and she would make sure to make changes as needed which better fit my needs. Overall I loved working with Bri and can’t thank her enough for all of her help through this process!

I have been going to Prosper for 8 months now and I absolutely love it. My initial consultation was with Moe. I'm 61 and had been having trouble with lack of strength and mobility. Couldn't even walk up a flight of stairs without holding on. Moe set me a programme and I haven't looked back. The benefits i have gained are fantastic. Walking into Prosper was the best thing I could have done. Bree and Moe are very professional and extremely friendly and they put me at ease immediately. Brianna and Moe are absolutely amazing at what they do! I have previously always found it hard entering a gym, exercise physiology or pilates studio due to the culture and clientele however I felt right at home in such a short period of time after stepping into the Prosper Physiology facility. If you are after a one stop shop where the instructors/ coaches take dedicated time to assist you with your health and fitness goals then this is the place for you! There are a wide range of classes available to pick from and if you give them a go I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

Brianna gave me a great exercise plan that was simple to fit in and do at home. The plan extended after each visit and the online tool was excellent for keeping me on track. Within 2 visits I felt a huge difference, and am now exercising pain free whilst knowing what I need to keep doing to stay that way. I'm really grateful to Brianna for the difference she's made to my fitness and health. I started seeing her exactly one year ago with severe back pain after trying many other options and by far this is the only place that has helped ease my pain almost completely. She tailors my program really carefully in response to my varying needs. I also got great mental benefits and great enjoyment from the sessions .Her knowledge, commitment and approach is outstanding. The one on one sessions allowed me to really focus on areas of injury and pain but also work on strengthening and improving supporting muscles. She has taught me how to exercise correctly in order to achieve the full benefit without causing further damage. Would highly recommend it to anyone suffering an injury or wants to learn how to exercise safely and effectively.

I have been going to see Brianna since April 2021. My first appointment was fantastic we throughly went over any health issues and what I wanted to achieve. Brianna then personalised a program for me to do with her and also for the gym when I go. Every session since has been fantastic, my strength and fitness has improved greatly and I noticed results quite quickly. She explains everything so throughly and is happy to answer any questions you may have. I have been to a lot of Pilates, exercise physiologist and gyms over my 20 years in the fitness industry and HANDS down Brianna at Prosper Exercise Physiology is by FAR the best I have had the pleasure to work with. In her new wonderful and warming studio on the lake at Capestone her vast knowledge and expertise in her field has advance my Golf game to a much higher level as a A grade athlete. Brianna has had a great variety of exercises through out our time together and I love learning and performing new exercises that push me to my limits which target muscles in a fantastic new range. If you were after a great workout that targets strength, flexibility, endurance, mobility and have a great time doing it at a wonderful location and beautiful studio I cannot recommend Brianna at Prosper Exercise Physiology enough.

I truely appreciate all the understanding this week as we’ve had to cancel all my appointments and classes whilst I’ve been bed ridden with influenza! 

Luckily I feel so much better today and will be happy to work an extra day or two next week, outside of regular opening hours, to make up for my missed days and the EKKA public holiday on Monday!

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is offering a 52-week program designed to improve physical health and wellbeing for returned service members, peacekeepers and those covered under the ADF firefighter scheme, known as the Heart Health Program!

You may be eligible to join a new Heart Health group alongside other participants that will be run by our team at Prosper Exercise Physiology in Mango Hill, providing you with the opportunity to exercise as part of a group and receive monthly tutorials about healthy lifestyle topics that will benefit your heart health and general fitness.
 
The Heart Health Program is open to all returned service members and peacekeepers and those covered under the ADF firefighter scheme. All participants need to get a medical clearance form, provided by the program, completed by their GP before starting the program.
 
If you would like to register to join this group or check your eligibility, contact the team at Corporate Health Management who manage the program on behalf of DVA, on 1300 246 262 or you can contact us directly for further assistance. We have also added a link in our bio that will take you to the relevant website if you’d like more information!

A recent 2022 systematic review and meta-analysis, highlighted that Women are more vulnerable to chronic 
stress and post-traumatic stress disorders? In addition,  long-term research can estimate as much as 90% of illnesses and diseases can be related to stress including pain, cancer, depression etc!

As a mother of 2 kids under 5, a veteran spouse and a business owner, I’m all too familiar with the effects of chronic stress, which is why I wanted to do something even more special for the women in our community, to celebrate Prosper Exercise Physiology’s this year!

So, I bring you our first-ever Selfcare Workshop for Women and its FREE! We have a huge range of activities planned, to give you a guilt free, selfcare day whilst helping you understand and manage stress as well. The 5-hour Workshop includes a Goody-Bag, Refreshments, Movement, Guest Speakers, Meditation and MORE!

Our beautiful client last week, smashing her final classes at 39 weeks pregnant, to then have the birth she wanted this week and the early recovery, we all hoped for! Hearing her say that working with us through individualised reformer and weight training, helped her so much, made my heart so happy! 

We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with so many Mummas now and nothing beats the feeling when they realise all the hard work they were able to put in during their pregnancies, truely pays off. No matter what level you start at, how many breaks you may need to take, how much we may have to change or reduce the type and intensity of the movements/exercises you do, every little bit seems to count in one way or another.

And what a beautiful way to celebrate International Women’s Day with the theme this year being Inspire Inclusion, than to celebrate the gradual rise of awareness around Women’s Health, that has enabled an increase in inclusion of so many women to feel confident choosing exercise as a form of wellness and healthcare, during all stages of their lives. 

Let’s celebrate more women choosing to exercise during pregnancy, knowing they can do so safely and effectively. Especially when it wasn’t too long ago that women were advised against exercising or were severely restricted in what they should and shouldn’t do, during the pregnancy stage of their lives!

So a huge thank you to all the Medical and Health professionals who’ve fearless advocated and/or chose to undertake research to improve Women’s Health and thank you to all the healthcare professionals who continue to work within this space especially those utilising exercise therapy. So many of you have inspired and educated me over the years!

And a huge thank you to all the wonderful women who put their trust in us when choosing exercise as therapeutical intervention, knowing you won’t get the instant results you may from other types of therapy, but ride it out until you finally get to experience the magical benefits of exercise, in the long haul!

Women truely are amazing beings and I am grateful to work alongside them every day! Happy International Women’s Day! 🥰
